Played some of the bass on this Indonesian musical series, “Nurbaya,” released by @indonesia_kaya - The first episode had over 3 million views in 3 days, which was pretty incredible. @ivantangkulung did the music from Indonesia- we recorded remotely, with him running sessions over zoom, sometimes while pulled over in his car on the side of the highway. What a time to be alive. Great job @ivantangkulung and the rest of the team.

Played a few weeks ago at the vaccination site set up at the Edenwald YMCA. It was, like much of the last 16 months, a strange experience. But it was incredible to play for folks getting vaccinated and even more so for the staff. Everyone working there was incredibly kind and appreciative, even at the end of a very long day. Playing jazz for an hour at a vaccination site means almost nothing in the grand scheme of all that is happening, but it was really inspiring to play a tiny role in this massive and impressive civic effort. . . . . . #musicheals #local802
